There's a BART station a block from the theater.

According to the Fox Theater's website, it's been closed since 1966, and just reopened this Feb., so I bet it's awesome now.

Wow, I didn't know it had been closed for so long.

Thanks for the info on the BART. Is that the one on Broadway near 12th? So is that pretty safe at night to walk on Telegraph down to Broadway?

19th and Broadway station. It's practically next door to the station. Here's the map:

Thank you very much for the helpful information. That is really close to the venue. I am sorry to be a pest, but if I took that and got off on 12th at Broadway, is it relatively safe to walk on Broadway from 12th down to about 9th? I'm trying to find a place to stay and the closest hotels that are on Broadway don't allow ins/outs of the parking lot unless one pays for valet instead (and I don't really want valet touching the car). Thanks again!
