Re: born silly : how many bloody versions are there?
you're too nice man, thank you. I still really like it. Unfortunetly I won't put it anywhere for it to be heard until the Romford boys hear it, and I can't be sure of when that will be. But thank you again. I am still humbled by the email you sent me on myspace saying you liked it.

Re: born silly : how many bloody versions are there?
I never liked the Born Slippy track too much to be honest..neither the original nor the remixes. The track is just too monotone for a too long time and does not do much for me. Most people here if they know and like Underworld they combine them with this track...funny I love them and am always glad when the track is over. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I think it is their most famous track in Germany thanks to Trainspotting though. Besides Sven Väth who whored Underworld's name around in the mid nineties already in the club "Omen" in Frankfurt. I can't remember a night, Sven did not play Rez or Cowgirl and the crowd always went nuts.

With 'original', are you referring to the original instrumental mix? I like that the most.

the instrumental OG version is a great track. anyone ever here the instrumental with the NUXX lyrics? I have a live version somewhere amongst my minions - it's pretty interesting. born slippy has been re-rendered several times which is one the greatest talents of UW. just listen to their live tracks and you'll notice. my 2 favourites are born slippy and mmm skyscraper, i love you. great stuff. it's just amazing how they will take their classics and make them better.

and with born slippy they kind of just mix them all up - the latest live version is almost like a history of born slippy in one track. i love it!

now playing: Jumbo - UW

i seem to recall that, too...back in the day, maybe one of the 1994 or 1995 gigs, like the OCtagon or Leisester?

Yeah, nice to hear the original Born Slippy mix in with NUXX and then Nuxx.2003. i've never got around to the Born Slippy megamix:

Born Slippy (original) ->deep pan->telematic->nuxx-.rick's ambient down mix->Nuxx.2003
(i think that's all the mixes UW did themselves...keep this official and you still have a lonnng born slippy!)

I actually thought it was a little uninspired. Especially compared to the rest of the show.

i discovered recently that I can with my UW collection, I can listen to over 7 1/2 hours of continuous Born Slippy (Nuxx) without ever hearing the same version twice

Are you sure? Because for example; you might have counted the Reading and Munich versions (BS and BS.NUXX respectively) twice, as they are also included in the Bootleg Babies.

Still impressive though .
