Splitting the Riverruns on a Mac
i was searching the forum for information on how to do this, and the links I found point back to dirty.org so I can't read the posts. Does anyone have the cue files handy, and any info on a Cue Splitter for Mac? The link to 2.2.2 in the thread I found gave me a 404...

Cheers in advance.

Just bumping the thread, as I would also like to avail myself of this method.

Re: Splitting the Riverruns on a Mac
Sorry, there are no good, free splitters on the Mac.

Fission is the best though, hands down. I use it all the time.

The only other one worth looking at is MP3 Trimmer. I prefer Fission though because it's easier to use and it also supports AAC files. The only time I use MP3 Trimmer is when I have to cut up an MP2 file, because Fission doesn't have MP2 support.

Edit: Looks like there's been some development on the freeware front since the last time I checked. I can't vouch for their ease-of-use or support for CUE sheets, but here are some you can try:

Macsome Audio Splitter: http://www.macsome.com/audio-splitter-mac/
AudioSlicer: http://audioslicer.sourceforge.net/
cue-splitter: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/13093

Re: Splitting the Riverruns on a Mac
The thread on how to split is still valid, as are the instructions on getting it to work on MacOS 10.4/10.5 http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forum...ead.php?t=3736

CueSplitter 2.2 is available here: http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Audio/cuesplitter.shtml

Re: Splitting the Riverruns on a Mac
Hi TheBang, Stimpee, thanks for the replies. I've downloaded a few of the splitters to try but the cue files are still linked to dirty.org. I've tried using Darktrain.org as a domain instead for the same URL but with no luck. ( http://www.darktrain.org/~steve/RR3.cue )

Does anyone have them available to download?

Thanks in advance...

Re: Splitting the Riverruns on a Mac
Try these here:

Stimpee's: http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forum...ead.php?t=1990
Jan's: http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forum...ead.php?t=2099
Mine for "I'm a Big Sister": http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forum...0&postcount=60

Just copy/paste the text into a plain text file, and just name the file something.cue.

I don't think anyone ever made a CUE sheet for The Misterons Mix. I could be wrong.

Edit: Jan did a Misterons: http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/forum...1&postcount=74
