Mitsubishi Lancer TV ad
I hear that this TV commercial isn't screening until after the 9pm watershed, due to the sensitives of the great unwashed in the UK.
So in case you've haven't seen it yet - being early sleepers, or down pub - check it out...It was produced for the NZ market and ran last year - very clever and quite amusing. There's now a sequel, that's just started screening here as well. Lancer 2

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer TV ad
Haha, nice.
![]() (Had you caught me before the watershed, I'd have been mortally offended) For a long time, Mitsubishi have had something of an image problem over here - either conservative and middle-aged with the Carisma, Galant, Space Wagon, etc - or a bit boy-racer with the Colt. The Lancer is a good one to promote for them, particularly with the Evo brand. The campaign should do well. |

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer TV ad
Oi! I have a Mitsubishi (No)Carisma!
![]() My fave ad in the UK for its ability to make you remember the product is Not only is it silly and makes the website name stick in your mind, but the marketing dept. have really gone to town with a real website called www.comparethemeerkat.com , which is like a "Match.com" for meerkats! Well done, I say. ![]() My other fave, in a warm, cuddly, old fashioned way is the one, which is a little potted history of the Britain over the last century.

Oops! Well if ever there was a mismatch between car and driver....
![]() Compare the Meerkat.com is genius - using the wrong name to ensure that everyone can remember or easily work out the right name. Inspired. |
