i even hate it when people pull this "what if (alternate candidate) was elected instead." today because you cant prove any of it and it's probably untrue but you can scream as loud as you can and few will scream as loud as you otherwise. it's such a cheap ass move and if they're really angling for failure just to push their own carreer then any of that talk about having the best interests of the country at heart is right out the window, along with a lot of respect.

they havent just lost the plot, but also the script, the director, and anything else "in their way"
