Lady In the Water
Proof that even the most daft of storylines can shine when told by a master storyteller.
M. Night's children are the most lucky kids in the world when it comes to getting told bedtime stories.

Re: Lady In the Water
As said, the story is so far fetched, but then again, it's a fairy tale (no pun intnd) for adults. And who didn't enjoy fairy tales when they were a child? Don't expect a horror/suspense.
My truck was in the shop and I needed to kill some time. I had no intentions of seeing this movie, it was the only one I wouldn't have to wait 1.5 hour to see. But I have to say I'm glad I didn't miss it. M. Night's films are more/less the same pattern, but this film reminded me how great a story teller he is. Also, could not go without mentioning the amount of intended humor throughout the film helped it tremendously. Maybe Night's ready for a change and this film showed he's capable of targeting the interesting humorous side of the ordinary human beings.
