Fantastic pics! More please!!

I know that bryn still plays drums for some bands in England.
Alfie owns a b&b or hotel. Stuart lives in Spain.
Really don't know who is Chris Bell......

Re: freur lyrics ...
hey anji!

welcome to the forum and nice to see another "old" freur fan here!
sorry for the late reply, but i was away for a few days ...
anyway, thanks a lot for the pix and your offer about the lyrics!

i like to have the correct lyrics to "matters of the heart" especially, if possible!
you would do me a great favor, if you could correct my "heard" lyrics in this thread or post the original lyrics here instead!

alfie thomas runs a new business on his own, as it seems: http://alfieplastering.mysite.wanado...uk/index.jhtml
well, as far as i know, he still plays accordeon in the band of holy joy!

bryn burrows still plays drums here and there:

http://imdb.com/name/nm0123254/

i don't know, what stuart does today nor even who chris bell is, sorry!

I thought Chris Bell was the extremely talented member of Big Star who died in a car crash in the 1970s. Check out his solo album, "I Am The Cosmos" or Big Star's "#1 Record" for some pop nuggets. Unless i'm mistaken?

No, that is not him. Chris and Stuart often swapped places and filled in as needed.

Thanks for all the info on the ex band Members Will have a bash @ Matters of the Heart lyrics for you in a day or so, and will also post more pics if there is interest?

Freur

Matters of the Heart (Lyrics)

Dance
reflections in a pool
the dancing of a fool
the shining of his heart
and dance
the beating of a drum
when four hearts beat as one
the rising of the sun

These doors have all been open
right from the start
in matters of the heart

Dance
(Background Chorus: Dance all night...)
the clown is on the street
the city is asleep
and no-one hears the beat
and dance
the clouwn is turned away
and heroes take the day
eyes are painted grey

These eyes were blind and empty
right from the start
in matters of the heart

Dance
why all these faces turning away
dance
hear what this body is longing to say
in matters of the heart

Dance
(Background Chorus: dance all night ...)
reflections in a pool
the visions of a fool
the shining of his heart
and dance
the beating of a drum
a million hearts as one
the rising of the sun

These doors have all been open
right from the start
in matters of the heart

Dance
why all these faces turning away
dance
hear what this body is longing to say
in matters of the heart
in matters of the heart

in matters of the heart

Well Done Freur, that's pretty much it

One or two things not quite right, but my CD is at work, so will grab it Monday and re-check it. Bloody brilliant song IMHO
