Wow, the character he plays in The Cleveland Show even looks like him. I've never seen the show, but I'm obviously familiar with Family Guy; I'm veeery surprised he's involved in it. I know he's a very serious, artistic director. I guess everyone has a humorous side to them, though.
That could be but Family Guy hasn't had anything to do with humor for a good 6 years.
