[I'm really digging this hyper-beat version]Minniapolis Hopkins version just sounds like he's cranked up the pitch control. its not that good. interesting but no big change on the original (which is great).

I agree that it's not a great remix, but man, that beat change makes a difference. But if it were longer than 5 minutes, I'd get sick of it quick.
The original is still the CHAMP!

Jazz/Funk/Reggae fusion to make you smile. Jamiroquai-esque only MUCH better, imo.

glad your disc arrived! that is a wonderful mix from the Wighnomy Bros. i was pretty worn out on their sound when i heard the mix was coming so didn't anticipate it very much. when i heard it, after some pretty hefty praise from señor roth, it felt so fresh + dynamic. great vibes and prob. one of this years best commercially available dj mixes.

Santogold - Anne...i think this is what it would sound like if the Specials and Martha Davis of The Motels collaborated....
Tittsworth - Eye Whips Pussy...."no-nobody got me pussy whipped, eye whipps puss-seh!"
Puscifer - Queen B (Narcovice mix). fun side project from Tool's Maynard James Keenan.
i originally mistook the lyrics as "lady got a thick nose". lyrics:
This lady got the thickness
Can I get a witness
This lovely lady got the thickness
Can I get a Hell Yeah
Grab them saddlebags and
Toss em over me
Let's ride all night
This lady got the thickness
Can I get a witness
This lovely lady got the thickness
Can I get a Hell Yeah
Booty big and delicious
Shake it like she's fearless
This lovely lady got the thickness
Can I get a Hell Yeah

The Wee DJ's - Loopt
Everyone who is into electro/breaks, the really dark stuff, get this NOW!!!! The bassline is so mean and the snare is so nasty, you'll want to cry when hearing this. There's some nice trippy sounds and around 1:30 there is this phaser sound as if the song has gone off on a rocket and flies a 1000 miles per hour.
Such a cheesy description, so even more reason to actually go and hear it, because it's sweet as hell.
Ok I'm doing a naughty thing here:
