But what is a mecha-bot? Is it a kind of laser robot?
Well, the closest motif I can think of is a robot bird I found some weeks ago in Stavanger in Norway.

I remember he was skating on Venice beach up and down the whole day and you could not understand what he was singing about. I am kind of the same way. I owned Michael's "big 3" (bought them for a buck a piece at a used LP store) and liked them but there was always sort of a taboo around the guy. If you ever tried to play his music at a party people would mock you because of the constant bizarre scandals he was always in...my generation was not around for Thriller so we always found it easier to talk about MJ the person as opposed to the musician. When he died it suddenly became okay again to play his music and lo and behold you would hear just about every MJ hit every time you stepped into a bar or club. Which I didn't mind. I always found some of his bigger hits like "Billie Jean", "Beat It", and "Bad" to be kind of overrated. To me songs like "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" and "Shake Your Body Down to the Ground" were pure perfection. I mean I always knew that "I Want You Back" was a perfect pop song but I was kind of amazed to find out how many great parts there were in "Don't Stop..". Like, everything about the song is amazing.

My last name is Kósa, spells Kosa and pronounces like "coosa" in Sweden, so my colleague used to call me "mama coosa".

The band is Schneider, Klaus Dinger, and Michael Rother...Hutter had quit the band for six months. The resulting lineup did not record any albums but they were incredible live. Dinger and Rother as you may know went on to form Neu!, one of the most influential bands of all time. Great bootleg, very jam-heavy but it pretty much entirely rules, especially "Ruckzuck"...check it out :)

It must have been during late 1970´s when they came to my hometown Miskolc in Hungary for a TV recording.
It was arranged at the sports centre with the only skating-rink in town where I spent every evening after school during the winter seasons.
Me and some other regular kids were asked to dress up and skating in the background and someone said we should dress up as a worm. It was one kid at the front and the others under a light green blanket, that I took with me from home, so you could only see our legs. I think I was the last pair of legs or something, I don´t remember. I still have their card with an autograph from this event :)

Not a "world-famous-10/10" band but their musical versatility throughout the years is quite interesting.

Well, when I visited Buddha Bar for the first time in ´97/98, long before they opened a Buddha Bar Shop for tourists, I was definitely not living in a dream.
...or was I?
At that time I was working almost day and night as Project Manager (+50 people and fixed price IT project, maybe some of you know what that means) and tried to handle my mothers second attempted suicide at the same time (she has a kind of AD/HD). It was quite busy times I must say and the Buddha Bar experience in Paris was an oasis indeed. Yet I lived on a street called Lucky Street and in summertime I was sailing a 38 ft boat with a name Lucky Swede. :)
Ha..ha.. sounds weird I know. Life is quite inscrutable sometimes.
