Very nice early jam...some groovy lyrics, too. Though I still prefer the original!

Re: Dubnobasswithmyheadman: 20th Anniversary 5-CD Deluxe Boxset
I always wondered what the vocal was before "An eraser of love." It seems like it may be spliced with the line right before it in this version of "Puppet." So perhaps, "--pet -- An eraser (a razor?) of love" All happens at 9:36.

Did anyone announce the rerelease of rez, with this demo version of cowgirl as the b-side?

In an affectionate nod to its past and to mark the 20th Anniversary editions of ‘Dubnobasswithmyheadman’, we are delighted to offer a strictly limited edition 12” of ‘Rez’. Not sure it's entirely exact, but these are pretty much the lyrics.

Re: Cowgirl (C69 mix from A1564)
What an awesome gem from their archives.
Really amazing to hear those little snippets of the final Cowgilr version in there. Karl's vibe is a bit like the second part of Spoonman ("Don't put your hand .."), only a bit more ... 80s in this one :-) Also: take these snippets and you get the lyrics of "Tongue" (changes in brackets): Quote:
