cowgirl live on u/w myspace
Does anyone know which gig this amazing version was recorded? The super-slowed down Rez appregio is sooo revealing, and then, when it fires up to full speed, just blows you across the room!

hmm...

I would guess it's either Reading '96 ... or maybe the version of it from the "Burger Van Man Gig"

(forget the date - it was from sometime around... '96, and it was posted on either the original or the second version of UW live - never to be reuploaded again)

You're right! Love those analog sounds. Wonder what happens if you synch up this live track while watching CEotTK? It would definitely make a great movie better, methinks. With no offense to Tomato or "H"., the space ship provides a nice light show.

It was a normal show (nothing 'special' like Blue Mountain or any of the dirty radio shows) - but was given that name by Karl, in his description of it on UW live... b/c (something to the effect of) they played so well even some dude selling food (burgers) stood on top of his van to dance while they played

I will see if I've got it on either one of my data dvdr's or external hd's

I'm positive it's from a festival in 1996... but I don't remember the real location. I do recall that there was a massively long version of Rez/Cowgirl that was split into three tracks on uwlive

As Yan says, the Rez/Cowgirl on MySpace is 1996-08-25 Reading Festival - Reading, UK. This was also used as the last track on Bootleg Babies.

Burger Van Man Gig is 1996-07-06 TW 1996 - Werchter, Belgium.

Another gig that has the slowed down Rez beginning is 1996-08-24 Paleo Festival, Switzerland. You know, I'm not sure I believe the date and venue information for that recording. They went from Switzerland to the UK in one day?

...
Thought it sounded familiar. And there I was listening to a low-qual version off myspace when it's already in my freaking playlist.

ahem.
