minneapolis so far.... i'm using two percussion sample loops for it that i'm confident on right now,

both from Best Service Gigapack 1. 100 4715 0SL/0TR for the main backing perc loop, and 105 7525 03L/04R for the cleaner kick/snare sample from that one song everyone says they sampled for it... which is true, but it wasn't a direct sample. its more likely it was a loop in a pack like this that they used, which itself was a sample from that song.

the only connection that stood out was a very similar click sound every bar, which might actually be the same sound. unsure on the source for both though. i thought it was close enough and then the first half of narrato had a synth sound that ended up working nicely with my puppies synth attempt.. so then i left that in and made this.

from some further research into the sound source for the pad from Dirty/Skyscraper, the Emulator II has it as a sample in its stock bank. my notes testing the Emulator II soundbank in Emulator X, have it marked as this:

patch 362 bank 2 program 106 - Orch Chords - Skyscraper/Dirty Pad.
sample library:
sl817 - long hold,
sl818 - higher truncated version with fade in.
