Beautiful Burnout - Art Jam, New York
As announced in the broadcast, and on underworldlive.com:
"We are pleased to announce that from the 1-15 August the ArtJam will be arriving in New York! Beautiful Burnout is a multi-media exhibition/installation of video, art, photography and text at the Jacobson Howard Gallery in Madison Avenue." This corresponds with when they will be there for All Points West Festival. John Warwicker and Toru Yoshikawa, who both contributed to the Makuhari Art Jam, will also be contributing. John writes some more about it at Tomato (click the headline to expand the article): http://www.tomato.co.uk/?p=1621 http://www.tomato.co.uk/?p=1626 Wish I could be there. Have fun, New York. |

Re: Beautiful Burnout - Art Jam, New York
Awesome. Will there be a full-on UW concert as part of this event? (~2 hr. set?)
EDIT: Hmm... the Oblivion Ball was in a converted aircraft hangar; this one is in an art gallery... so probably not? Well, i'm with nosajmunson, hoping for an impromptu gig elsewhere in the city. Last edited by geoff; 06-13-2008 at 11:49 AM. |

Re: Beautiful Burnout - Art Jam, New York
The Wifey & I are going to the Big Apple for our Anniversary in August. The Timing is perfect. See UW at the All Points Fest then go to this. Maybe R&K will swing by to put on an impromtu gig before/after the All Points Fest?
Here's to hoping....
