Good question. If the Live Here Now crew doesn't want to haul their stuff to the states (understandable), then I hope the guys find it in their hearts to play longer than 2 hours for us!

Re: Underworld visits ATL
I won't accept anything less than an 8-hour show. Pack a meal, boys.

All kidding aside, I'm especially looking forward to the Two Months Off/Giant Phallic LED Inflatables part. TMO is mine and my girlfriend's song.

What oddity should we request...

It's only 1 block away from the gig, and close to the MARTA station as well. Here's a google map that shows all three:

Anybody know if "Best Western Granada Suite Hotel - Midtown" is any good? I'll have company and their two bed price is the same as a one bed + rollaway at the marriott. They are about the same distance from the venue, though...

Re: Underworld visits ATL
Anyone else surprised/disturbed/worried that this isn't sold out yet? I figured with the venue being so small (1,034 capacity) it would sell out in minutes. Now almost 2 weeks later you can still buy 50 tickets. I hope the sales are not so weak that they end up cancelling. Maybe they will sell out as it gets closer to the date.

Well, give it time. About a week before the gig, people will be seeing flyers and going "Underworld.... they did that Slippy song right? I got nothin else to do, LET'S GO!"

Re: Underworld visits ATL
there has been zero advertising for this. it is very possible that there are fans in atlanta who don't even know this show is scheduled. if it weren't for my addiction to this superfan site, i'm not sure i would have found out.

I agree, ashamed, this is also the reason why Red Rocks was moved to the Fillmore. Weak response.

Cacophony, you should print some makeshift flyers and post them around the area, at least.

Re: Underworld visits ATL
I'm not ashamed to be a part of the American underground electronic scene! Electronic music fans are few and far between here, and I think that makes it all the better. Seeing a band this big in a venue this small... it's something special.

But, is it bad for the band financially? Absolutely. They should charge 65 for tickets like Prodigy did here. We're a smaller fanbase, but we're more dedicated!
