Heh...
I'm a jerk.
A lot has been happening since I got back, not the least of which is that, upon getting out of the Marine Corps, I'll be moving back to the midwest (and it's FUCKING COLD HERE) so's that the woman and I can do the whole wedding shindig and finally get a house. I have been paying NO attention to anything going on here, and I got a message from Janie AND jOHN, so I figured I'd at least throw this post out there for their peace of mind. I hope everyone's holidays are going well. With our blockbuster economy, everyone in my family is getting a crayon. I'm buying one 64 ct box of crayons, and I'm handing them out individually, because I feel that the color they get is a personal message from me; about how I feel about them. Yellow/Green and Magenta are already spoken for. My niece is growing like a weed. She's in kindergarten, and she's such a stereotypical 6 year old (complete with two missing front teeth). Totally without shame or pretense. Her life is about fun, and if having fun means looking goofy or making weird noises or acting like you have some kind of nervous disorder, then so be it. I have to take her sledding yet. So...that's a little about my world in a nutshell. Glad to see Obama get elected, although his fellow Illinois legislators and representatives have been doing a really good job of making themselves look like grade A assholes. I have to go see my grandma, now. She's having leg problems and can't come up to see me. Duty calls. Ciao.
