Re: Spotify.....
Not really sure where to post this to, but I wanted to share a Spotify playlist I created of 25 tracks set to a 9 second crossfade. Although not perfect transitions, it's nice to keep the music going. Overall it's a pretty chill UW playlist. All tracks are available on Spotify US with the exception of the first track Peach Tree. If you have it in your library from the Boy, Boy, Boy single, it may come up. enjoy!

Re: Spotify.....
It really is quite amazing how rapidly the industry has transformed. This wasn't even 8 years ago, and streaming subscriptions, which weren't even a blip then, now provide the majority of music revenue.

Re: Spotify.....
Owning rather than streaming, for sure.
I‘ve bought more CDs during lockdown that I have in 10 years. I was streaming, and had all my MP3s, but I have found more new music, and enjoyed full albums more, since taking a step back and going offline. I must prefer it. Streaming has its place (useful when driving or in the gym) but at home I like to take a bit more care with what I listen to. Also, sometimes, songs are not available in different countries etc, and also the DAC on my phone is shit. |
