Re: in space, noone can hear you scream...
Come on...it's so obvious: "Dark Side of The Moon" by Pink Floyd!
Hmm...actually, i'm thinking of something spacey and suitably "out there". Maybe The Flaming Lips or "surrender" by The Chemical Brothers?

However, I would take my iPod......... Apart from Floyd, I would have to take Saltank - ST3.

Re: in space, noone can hear you scream...
btw, no one suggested an mp3 cd yet....
but i will fall into line with the one stereo CD. short occupation in orbit? [a month or two] ---> speedy j - ginger a long long orbit? [a year or longer] ---> richie hawtin - concept 96 [the cd] --------- secretly attempt to use a cargo pocket/bodily cavity to to smuggle a small case of 10 cds. without anyone noticing, this is my only solace for my three year orbit... autechre - LP5 aphex twin - selected ambient works volume one dopplereffekt - gesamtkunstwerk richie hawtin - mixmag! live speedy j - public energy number one download - effector bjork - vespertine placebo - without you im nothing gus gus - polydistortion vangelis - blade runner soundtrack --------- then, i realize that this music will be too inspirational to not have an outlet for creativity. when no one was even awake, i installed a "special communication device" ie, a laptop to assist in communcation with earth. my own personal "space" to compose music as i see fit. i would be stupid not to try. |
