nice (technical) article about Barking
Came across this article from EQmag:
http://www.eqmag.com/article/underwo...er-2010/122541

The article is from novemeber of last year but I don't recall seeing it posted here.
It goes into some nice detail on the recording process and gear used to make Barking.

Re: nice (technical) article about Barking
Yes, that was one of the better ones from this list of articles:

http://www.borndirty.org/2011/02/gro...king-articles/

There's a "Web Exclusive" supplement to the EQmag article linked there also.

From that list, I'd also recommend the Self-Titled Interview, and the Independent "How We Met" articles as interesting reads.

agreed. nice post. It's interesting to hear how tracks are split and tinkered with after the fact. Dividing the bass frequencies into separate parts and adding a sub with the mooger fooger was an interesting process. ... noted into my production book of tricks.....
