The Salmon Dance? The fuck is that??

Other than that title, it sounds really good. Especially Burst Generator.

Re: new chemical brothers album and tour
Looks like a hip hop album with all the songs 'featuring' someone else. Come on guys...out of your own ideas?

Re: new chemical brothers album and tour
Chem Bros have always had a lot of guests on their albumns, now they just reference them in the same way (instead of hidden in liner notes)

Re: new chemical brothers album and tour
Maybe a bit off topic, but, regarding the whole "Featuring...." thing, imho it seems a bit desperate, having all these guests who oftentimes contribute little to the quality of the work and are onboard to lend credibility (indie, Hip Hop, whatever) or move units. For example, on Push the Button, you had Q-Tip, that guy from Bloc Party, the Magic Numbers (??), Tim Burgess, and whoever was rapping on "Left Right". That's a lot of guests, and imho, it made for the weakest CB album to date. i expect a Beth Orton appearance, or Tim Burgess/Richard ashcroft/Gallagher to be utilized, but c'mon, Chems, do your own thing!

It's ok, I don't really like the vocals that much

Re: new chemical brothers album and tour
I love the infectious bassline...

I heard i in my car driving home and it was really loud - it makes a difference to hear the bassline properly - i do kind of like Galvanise too, and i agree the vocals are annoying but i like the way the bass kicks in..

"Oh my god what have I done?"..

The only thing that I really didn't care for on Galvanize was the mixing. The track itself I thought was ok. A bit generic, but still ok in my book.
