Re: new chemical brothers album and tour
Maybe a bit off topic, but, regarding the whole "Featuring...." thing, imho it seems a bit desperate, having all these guests who oftentimes contribute little to the quality of the work and are onboard to lend credibility (indie, Hip Hop, whatever) or move units. For example, on Push the Button, you had Q-Tip, that guy from Bloc Party, the Magic Numbers (??), Tim Burgess, and whoever was rapping on "Left Right". That's a lot of guests, and imho, it made for the weakest CB album to date. i expect a Beth Orton appearance, or Tim Burgess/Richard ashcroft/Gallagher to be utilized, but c'mon, Chems, do your own thing!

Re: new chemical brothers album and tour
I love the infectious bassline...
I heard i in my car driving home and it was really loud - it makes a difference to hear the bassline properly - i do kind of like Galvanise too, and i agree the vocals are annoying but i like the way the bass kicks in.. "Oh my god what have I done?".. Mike |
