2016-04-27 Samsung Developer Conference - San Francisco, CA
So, I couldn't figure out why UW hadn't returned to the UK yet. Turns out that they were booked to play a gig at the Samsung Developer Conference a while ago:

So, it happened last night:

It sure seems like they have been in the US for a long time - what, almost three weeks? Two weekends ago I was out rural Essex way for weekend athletic activity up on a hill and, looking down on Chadwell Heath and Romford (and across all of London actually, the view is phenomenal), feeling kinda bummed that they weren't possibly floating around down there.

As for this... well, sometimes things happen

At this point I had more fun watching the sea of white nerdy guys over 50 years old dance to UW than watching UW play nuxx again. :P

edit: also that might be the least jam-packed UW crowd I've seen since youfest in spain in 2012.

Nah, YouFest was pretty good, actually. If you want least jam-packed crowd, I think Alfa Future People last year would probably win that one.

huh, i recall youfest being nearly empty from videos I saw, but could be mistaken. As for Alfa Future, they did play at sunup for that set.
