To mark the release of their album Barking, the duo Underworld, big fan of the new French electro scene, decided to appeal to the kind of sizes for a new collection of remixes, so French!

It begins with DJ Paris Clement Meyer: the brains behind one of the references European blogging electro, the best selling Get The Curse, it quickly became known by its decadent style house uncompromising.

Hailed by Ivan Smagghe, Andrew Weatherall or Damian Lazarus for his early productions, he launched his own label in early 2010, Get The Curse music, including the first 4 outputs already reveal a strong identity and are acclaimed by many DJs Laurent Garnier Luciano. His productions are dark, but still very sexy, and groovy devastating.

It continues with the collective ClubCheva which Canblaster & SamTiba wonderfully remixed this title Underworld. Very active producer and DJ confirmed Canblaster fell madly in love with techno listening to Underground Resistance, Dave Clarke and Basement Jaxx.
Obsessed with vintage synths, it produces massive tracks, influenced by Detroit, Broken rhythms UK, the French delicacy of agreements, and a very Japanese sense of melody and mysticism. His tracks have been playlisted by quickly Sinden, Brodinski, or Douster Teki Latex, and remixes can attest to his immense talent.

A native of Roubaix, Sam Tiba is a DJ and music producer. His dancehall tracks and cutting-edge hip-hop influences make his sets even more explosive. B-More and mixing riffs Jamaican, he does not hesitate switcher's 90 to 160 bpm! The mash-ups and club hits produced by Sam Tiba were highlights and playlisted by DJs like Crookers, Drop The Lime BokBok, Martelo, French Fries, and of course Top Billin. His motto: Shake your bootie!

Subkittenz is the veteran of the techno guys supported by Luke Solomon, Sinden, Beataucue, Martelo, Lvis1990, Sharkslayer or Angel Molina. Yeah, the list is long and makes you want to discover them, right?

Re: New Remixes: Always Loved a Film - The French Remixes
i remember the italian 'king of snake' mixes..
in fact was listening to them on the way to
the concenrt in DC..

those were pretty good.. i have them on vinyl..
(never did get the cd.. but have WAV copy)..

anyways, this would be good for collectors to find
or horde...could be really hard to get later on...and
you'll be kicking yourself if you don't get them soon..

It's a shame, too, because the actual music isn't too bad, imho. The endless "therhythm" loop ruins it.

Also, is that "Lush" at 5:45?
