Dirty Club 2017 Version
The mix so underwhelming that nobody posted about it for 24 hours.
Is it my imagination or is this a very different version that what was performed a few years ago? I remember that one being quite exciting, while this is just a mashup of Dirty with Dirty Epic vocals. https://underworldlive.com/music/dir...-2017-version/ |

Re: Dirty Club 20017 Version
wasn't what i expected it would be based on the version they played when i saw them at the roundhouse in 2016. i was going to say it sounded more like the version they used at tokyo street poem, but that is actually closer to the roundhouse one. makes sense i guess, they were both in 2016 and not 2017.
audience recording from the roundhouse tokyo street poem (play speed at 2x almost sounds correct)

This seems more like just a mashup of the original stems. Here's my recording of the Dirty Club they played in Pomona 2016: http://www.mediafire.com/file/h3pt2w...b2016.m4a/file |

Re: Dirty Club 20017 Version
Yeah, funny the lack of interest. But really, the World of Underworld interludes between Drift tracks have been pretty mixed in terms of "wow" factor. For every "coming out of Texas" and extended "Pearls Girl", there's the repeat of "Air Towel jam" (which we had before) and this, which sounds familiar and none too exciting. But then, if we were casual fans and perhaps knew of "Dirty Epic", this much might blow your mind!
Karl's vocal mix seems off, a little unprocessed, maybe? Or I could just be forgetting how the original Dirty Epic sounds! Still nice of them to release something every Thursday, and sure, I'm compiling it all.
