More Dirtyradio!! More Genrelization this Tuesday!!
Well I can't promise you a theme like the other two, but Genrelization will return to the waves tomorrow for one final spurt of unpredictability for 2006.

Things to expect (but not rely upon):
-Intergalactic jazz courtesy of Sun Ra and his Myth Science Arkestra
-Russian Percussion from the USSR's finest DJ Vadim
-Eastern European remixage from the Amsterdam Klezmer Band
-Bulcan BeatBoxing
-The usual mish-mash of tracks you've heard before but in different contexts
-And an Underworld track to finish it off

Whatever it is, it will be happening live tomorrow at 4pm MST which is 3pm PST, 6pm EST and 11pm GMT. Tune in; you might just enjoy yourself!

As always, tracklistings will go up a few days after the show at www.myspace.com/liam_goodacre.

Hmmm, not yet. I'll try to get something sorted out for next year as there have been several requests.

i really really like (what i think are) the first two Sun Ra albums: Sun Song and Sound of Joy. they're less wacky, more traditional jazz records, but warped in just the right way, with some incredible Sun Ra piano solos. they also seem to represent bebop written for a big band, which i don't believe was very common ... i could be wrong though.

get them!
