Re: the Ultimate Fighting Championship
I'm a huge fan of both UFC and boxing. I also love K2 fighting, and just fighting in general. I love it when my cats fight.
I'm caught up to UFC 52, so don't give away anything from 53-55!

Re: the Ultimate Fighting Championship
me too....53 - 55 still on PPV and I wait for the DVDs.
Chuck vs. Randy in 52 is the latest I've seen except for the Fight Night Live on Spike recently. Way to go Chuck! I also love the Pride and Pancrase tournaments as well as the K2.

Re: the Ultimate Fighting Championship
I sorta gave up on them once they introduced weight classes and more stringent rules. The playing field stopped being interesting and now everyone's catching up to/surpassing the Gracies.
Outside of the occasional surprise here or there (I was given a bunch of UFC/Pride DVD's for my birthday and browsed them) it's generally whoever's the bigger grappler who's not afraid of striking that wins. But the early days were hell of a lot of fun. I trained with Relson, Royce and Rorion a little back then, and it was fun being the skinny guy beating the heavies in Judo class the following year I need to get back in the game...
