Errors - Come Down With Me

Anyone heard the new Errors album? Its still got the feel of the last album, tight funky rhythms, cool melodies, snappy new-orderish beats. If you remember, Errors supported Underworld on some of their UK 2007 dates and went down very well and theyve recently been supporting LCD Soundsystem. This album has its more experimental moments, and dives off into some obscurity but retains its overall layered melodies and upbeat feeling.

The single A Rumor In Africa sums it all up and leaves you tapping your toes and with a smile on your face. Its really a big instrumental electronic jam and screws with your brain a little but makes you want more.

I must say my favourite track on the album is Beards. It just builds and builds and you feel its just not long enough and you want it to go on forever. Great guitar work and a sort of krautrock groove.

Amazon UK is doing it for 7.47gbp with free postage and i found this place 194U.com selling the CD for 4.68gbp (no idea if theyre reliable but for 4.68 could be worth a punt).

Stimpee, I bought this on your recommendation and have been loving it so far. Especially track 2 (A rumour about Africa).

A great cross between rock and electronic if anyone is keen on stuff like that..

hah! well i feel much better now. Errors have got great potential. Dirty0900 is partially right. The first album is more accessible but this one is a grower.
