Sitting in the (movie) theatre now waiting for the play to start. Anyone else virtually joining us tonight?

Nah, but enjoy. I more fancy seeing Johnny Lee Miller as the monster and Cumberbatch as Frankenstein so I'll try to see it next week

Let us know how the experience was!

Hmmm…. I loved it!

the bells
the 1000 light bulbs
the monster (with or without scars - what a body!)
the solitary moon
the brilliant script
the acting (not everyone though)
the exquisite music from U/W
and more…

Was it Karl who played guitar when the monster was dreaming of his love?

All in all
Beautiful!

I saw it at the start of the week with Jonny as the Monster. Really enjoyed it, and the sounds too, Quite intense though

Love to see it with the actors in oposite roles but v. expensive.

I have only seen Danny Boyle´s Slumdog Millionaire and a few pieces of Trainspotting on YouTube but judging from that, intense scenes and themes seems to be his speciality.
It was full house yesterday with many artistic people, yet after 15 minutes, when the monsters pains reached the climax, some people leaved the cinema.
I guess that means the team made a great work

Same at the place I saw the broadcast (saw about 6 people leave during that opening). But there were a lot of people talking afterwards proclaiming their love for it.

I seriously want that lightbulb set to adorn my ceiling.

Saw it last night on NTLIve in Edinburgh. Left after half an hour. Boringggggg. Probably my attention span to blame

£16.90 inc fees, btw. $27. Not bringing theatre to the masses, then.
