Re: Name one album that you think everyone should have on their iPod...

It's been a LONG time since I've found a newer album that I've liked most of. Last two albums that I had on repeat for a long time were Matthew Dears first two full lengths-- that was back in 2004-2005. I can't remember a full album since that I had on repeat. Kinda sad. This isn't an electronic album but I love listening to it when driving in areas outside of the cities on the open road.

Re: Name one album that you think everyone should have on their iPod...
this is a bit of a nebulous topic - should we just name one of our favourite albums or are we supposed to take into account the iPod context ie an album that sounds great through headphones or is perfect for the gym or for listening at the beach on holidays etc..?

cut copy - in ghost colours,
studio - yearbook 2 though with VNV Nation as the number 1 selection here, i wonder if suggesting My Chemical Romance would be more appropriate.

OK, this may not be Electronic, but when I'm on a road trip, nothing says loving like some good soul music.
This album is a mainstay on my iPod anyway. Definitive Greastest Hits (2003 Remaster) by Al Green. I love driving to "Take me to the River", roll down the windows, let your arm hang out and catch the breeze. Just simple driving good times.

Re: Name one album that you think everyone should have on their iPod...
Ok, so I know you said only 1 post per day, but my last one got me thinking. This album has tons of great soul, good driving music (for me at least). It starts off with Mustang Sally, which I think is a great road song.
I trekked it from Colorado to Ohio & back in July and I listened to this one at least 3 times. http://www.amazon.com/Commitments-Original-Artists-Recordings-Featured/dp/B000002JOX/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1220380277&sr=1-4

For treks far and wide, earthbound or otherwise,
The Orb: "The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld" 1991 and it still sounds fresh, every listen reveals new bits.
