Being a Los Angelino myself, I can reassure you by saying that not a single person I'm aware of is planning to vote early. They all plan on voting next Tuesday - but they do plan to vote. It's probably largely because the studio gives us a few paid hours off on election day....

Re: vote, biotches
this is why i keep saying mccain could surprise us all with a win. we've all been inundated with images and poll numbers from the vocal masses who wish to be counted. but i think what none of us are counting on are the silent voters who don't want to be polled, don't go to rallies, but feel an unwillingness to support obama for whatever reason.

i think we're going to see much larger numbers for mccain come election day than any of the polls would lead us to expect at this point.

Re: vote, biotches
wait
why would old people not want to be polled
old people always want to tell you about themselves
about whats right.
besides voting early sounds like something the elderly would preoccupy themselves with, and has been a staple of the republican party through several cycles. this time its the democrats that have the edge.
also you know who the polls dont count in? cell phones
imagine all the students/youth who dont bother with a land line not being asked who they're going to vote for.

seems the opposite of what i thought would happen is going on. the closer we get, the less i'm worried.
my family is a worried mess though.

incidentally I was speaking about polls in utah but I just *know* its the same everywhere. anyway, you're going to need more than a couple hours on election day because I needed a 3 hour lunch to do early voting last week.

so if everyone who does have something better to do during the day than watch murder she wrote and buy another lotto scratch sheet is arguing they can pile up on nov 4 it might not work out so well.

just saying...

Obviously no vote, but I'll send some vibes.

Good grief, our countries are more similar than I realised.
I wonder if Iranian daytime TV is running old MSW episodes as well?

wouldn't doubt it. its pure porn for the elderly. the wish fulfillment of being in everyone's shit all the time *and* providing a valuable service to the community.
