Re: Dirtyradio going away for a while...
Scott,
Amoeba Music and various other music outlets thanks you for helping me to spend 1000's of dollars in their stores based on what I heard on Dirtyradio. I really am in your debt for helping me to find music that I genuinely enjoy. I sincerely hope that you will be back someday, until then, a million thanks and good luck with all your endeavors. p.s.- any suggestions for an online radio station to help me kick my Dirtyradio fix?

Re: Dirtyradio going away for a while...
Thank you so much Scott for the past years of Dirtyradio.
Much respect and appreciation for your decision. I am a bit sad about this, it feels like the end of an era. I'll miss your voice, and Shane's, Matt's, Yan's, every one's!. A lot less connection with Dirtyworld somehow... |

Re: Dirtyradio going away for a while...
Scott, one thing I've always been curious about and perhaps you can share this with us now, but how much music, or rather, how many tracks and different artist reside in the dirtyradio archive cache that is being played.
I understand if replying to this message with specific figures and numbers could end up being used as evidence in potential impending litigation, but I've always been curious over the years as dirtyradio has turned me onto so much new music, but especially in light of the past few days with the impending shut down I've been scribbling down artist and titles on a legal pad at my desk at work listening to the stream. |

Re: Dirtyradio going away for a while...
Dirty Radio is the first time I ever heard "The Horse" by Marshall Jefferson which led me to buy Annex 2 on Tresor which also has the amazing "Alright" by Savvas Ysatis on it. Both of those tracks are great to listen to while driving.
