Re: If Rah
Really enjoying the Vioski remixes, especially the Sleepless version - nice oscillating buzz and the arpeggiated key has some room to breathe.
The Herbert Lunar dub is okay, a little bit too much thrown against the wall at the end (though one could argue that this happens in the original, too!) Glad this is out, anyway. Much preferred to the Koze remix from I Exhale.

Re: If Rah
Is this promo really just a CDr? Are all the Barabara promo CD singles just CDrs?

Re: If Rah
What do you look for to tell the difference?
Also, If Rah and I Exhale (4 track promo) share the same cat.no. UWR00068 P .. ?

Quote:
The other major way to distinguish is the matrix area. Pressed CD's have a lot of information in the Matrix, including SID codes. CD-R's usually have no matrix information, and a dot-matrix-like batch code. You can see more information on Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/help/submiss...#CD_Versus_CDr As for the catalog numbers, I think that was a copy-paste mistake. I think If Rah should have had a different catalog number. BTW, did you mean 2-track promo for I Exhale? I'm not aware of a 4-track promo. |

Re: If Rah
Thanks a lot for explaining - and thanks for the link.
Yes, there is a 4-track promo cd of I Exhale. And it was probably the reason for my question as I believe the 4-track I Exhale promo is a CDr too. I couldn't tell the difference between If Rah and this one. Sorry for the lousy quality
