Scribble Promo Single

I just came across this promo single of Scribble on eBay. It looks pretty legitimate with the Cooking Vinyl-logo pressed on the CDr. Although I was tempted at first, since I'm dying to hear a clean full version of Scribble, I'm not willing to pay that much money for something that will not be worth more then 10% of its current vallue. The tracklisting gives:

2. Full Version
3. Instrumental

Nice to see that there is an instrumental version on it as well. Good luck for the ones that are going to bid on it. (I know some of you are willing to pay that kind of money for a promo... I did it in the past, but this time I'm waiting for the full/official/cheaper release )

i went to the listing to actually buy the thing, but WAT? 43dollars?? plus shipping?

i'll pass, it's less than a month away from the release of a nicely packaged single.

wonder if the Instrumental version is more in the vein of "You Do Scribble"? Though we have many fine live versions, a clean studio version would still be appreciated...

I'd expect it to be more or less the same as the regular version but minus the vocals.

the link above is to one thats 14.99gbp, not $43. same CD just without the press release.

This afternoon it had a Buy Now option for that amount, which was way too much IMO..!

yup, there was a buy it now option... but it seems that it was eliminated in favor of the bidding system.

For non-fixed price auctions, Buy It Now is only available when there are no bids on an item (unless the item has a reserve that hasn't been met). After the first bid has been placed, the Buy It Now option disappears.

i just bought the single for around half the price of the original bid. now, if the thing shows up before the official single...
