Re: Working For A Nuclear Free City - Businessmen & Ghosts
Hey! I liked this one. Very strange mixing their debut and EP together with the new stuff though. To be honest I thought the first one was brilliant, as was the track "Rocket". The new tracks are all good and mix well with the old stuff, but I miss some of the more hook-filled tracks like "Quiet Place" and "Over". So far I haven't found any new tracks I liked as much as that, but they're still quite solid.

I remember a thread about this band with some positive reviews so I'm now getting their first album. Troubled Son sounds awesome so far.

Don't bother - get this one instead. It has all the tracks from the first album and the EP they released after.

This is probably the most overlooked band in existence at the moment. I'm glad they're starting to get a little more attention. That the first release of this album showed up in so few top fifty lists last year was beyond me.

absolutely agreed.

I really like Businessmen and Ghosts, but I think last years record (self titled)is far more accessible in terms of immediacy.
