Tom Sizemore sentenced to 16 months in prison
Unfortunately this guy can't get a handle on his addictions. He was busted with meth, pot and opiates and due to the fact that he was already on probation, his probation has now been revoked and now he has to pay the full price.
My thoughts? I'm saddened that he seemingly has not hit his personal rock bottom yet. Being in recovery myself I understand that relapse is part of this disease, and I'm sure that the pragmatic part of him really wishes that he had his shit together. But regardless of the fact that he is indeed a very sick individual, he also has to be held accountable for the manifestations of his disease, and the ramifications. I hope prison will help him sort out his life. He really is an outstanding actor, and if he can recover and turn things around he can be another shining example of how addiction is not as hopeless as it seems. I wished Michael Mann would've used him again in a film, but he did appear in the short lived Robbery Homicide Division series that Mann produced. On that note, it's unfortunate that he's reached this point. |

Re: Tom Sizemore sentenced to 16 months in prison
An old friend of the wife's and mine used to be his hair-dresser, and she had nothing but horror stories about what a rude jerk he was. Wish I could remember spcifics now, but I remember being floored by just how horrible he treated people. Karma.
