Song ID
i stumbled across this recording of Kid Koala live in Vienna in September 2005. the song i'm looking for is the first one in the set, and as kid koala tells the audience, it is apparently from Vienna, so that might be a bit of a help.
it sounds a bit like upbeat Sofa Surfers imho, but so far i had no luck tracking it down....

here's a snippet:

Re: Song ID
I'll check this when I'm at home, but I thought I'd chime in and say, if you get a chance to see Kid Koala live, do so. It won't really change your life or anything, but it's quite different and wicked fun. The last two times I saw him we played bingo for prizes, among other things. He's got a lot of charisma.

Re: Song ID
There was a Kid Koala mix slated for the Solid Steel mix series; I heard a snippet years ago during his book tour, and nothing since. I suspect there were licensing issues, but it's still a crying shame.

Re: Song ID
Yeah, I can't be arsed to buy any of his albums. Skanky Panky off that album, however, is pretty mental, as is Drunken Trumpet off the other one. Errr...maybe I've got the album names mixed up. But those tracks are killer.

Live is a much different experience. Haven't heard the live album.
