He's talking about an upload of the original track on YouTube, not the promos for the new remaster. UMG used YouTube's Content ID matching system to issue blocks against all the tracks contained on the remaster, which, of course, matches against sound recordings of the original issue too, because Content ID is not so discriminating.

The question is whether UMG actually has distribution rights for the original recordings. If not, then the blocks could technically be disputed. And I think that's actually the case.

i'm not surprised in the least bit.

i expect all the other remasters and releases to have exclusive japanese tracks.

most likely it will be live tracks on the extra disc as suggested from the sites.

Yeah, they are not. Just re-issues to get them back in print (since the licensing agreement with V2 has expired and they've all been out of print for a while) in the Japan market.

It seems like they've signed quite the distribution deal with UMG.
