Re: best singer ?
hmm...
I definitely have a feeling that I may edit this later, but - the first voices that pop to my head (based SOLELY on live shows that I've been to) • David Bowie •.Allison Goldfrapp ...at least when I saw her promoting "Black Cherry" - my mouth dropped when I heard her sing "Deer Stop" • liz fraser... when I saw Massive Attack in Chicago for "Collected" I never thought that someone could sing soooo softly and lightly and yet... come out completely clear. Like, I kept thinking to myself "how the hell am I even able to discern the sounds coming out of her mouth as words?" |

Re: best singer ?
First to pop into my head: Tom McRae
On further reflection, I think that's probably the right answer, as well. I can't think of any better singers that I've heard live. He has a great range and a lovely soft voice to go with it. |
