Thom Yorke - The Eraser
Anybody? It's actually pretty good... sounds a lot like the Kid A/Amnesiac era (which is fine by me).

Had a listen to it (cheers eike) and I think the same. Very Amnesiac. Really liking it.

I'm rather ho-hum. I usually revel in recycled sound, but I haven't longed to hear this one again after two good sit down listens.

Maybe it'll grow on me, but if it doesn't I have next year to look forward to.

Re: Thom Yorke - The Eraser
yea - I kinda dug this stuff...

I'd definitely wager that if your favorite parts of "Meeting People is Easy" (radiohead's documentary) were the bits with like, Thom sitting outdoors twiddling dials, or alone in the studio - then you'd really like the album

I will say, however - is that all the tracks kinda meld together. Like, every time I listen to just individual tracks, I'm very ho-hum about it, but like - putting it on in the background while doing work = great album

the only individual tracks that I really like are the two that 'bookend' the album

Def an "album" album then a singles album.

i like it a lot. it's not re-inventing the wheel, but it creates a certain mood that only yorke seems to be capable of.

Re: Thom Yorke - The Eraser
I'm not a huge Radiohead fan...but i REALLY like what I've heard so far...
'And it rained all night', 'atoms for peace', and 'black swan' are very emotion-evoking songs.
