....yeah -- I thought I'd pipe in and say that people are getting sick of the same old rock/hip-hop/r&b bullsh*t.....

Edit: And people are getting sick of the same old spammers purveying their cheesy wares.

Byeeee!

In fact, I think All Rights Reversed is probably the weakest track... Every other track had me with a big grin on my face, totally loving it. It'll probably grow on me though, and I can definitely see it's appeal, the vocals are very cool, and the track itself sounds awesome but it just didn't click straight away (neither did The Test and I fucking love that track now!) And funnily enough, I think A Modern Midnight Conversation is a masterpiece after only 1 listen. Fucking awesome track. Salmon Dance is fucking wicked too, hilariously cool track. And all the rest, Das Speigel, Burst Generator (!!!), We Are The Night (!!!!), Battle Scars.... I really can't do it justice in words, the whole album is just perfect, totally unexpected but exactly what I wanted from a new Chems album. The Gods are better than ever, and they're reminding me what I loved about music in the first place
Is this satire or did this person really just say this?

What. the. fuck. I never really cared for them too much, but We Are the Night being their BEST album? What kind of drugs are there on the streets these days?

I have no idea... but - if there's a drug that can make you think that "we are the night" is their best...

part of me really really wants to try it
(but the other part thinks, then it'll end up making me also liking say... Rob Thomas or whatever)

I thought We Are the Night was awesome, especially live.

Best? No way.

They have some really fucking good tracks and some really fucking horrible shit. There is no golden middle. Regardless, i would seem them play in a heartbeat because i don't know what to expect.

Re: new chemical brothers album and tour
i pulled WATN out recently and relistened... i like it more now than at first, particularly the title track and Burst Generator. but still, the inclusion of "Salmon Dance", "Battle Scars" and the boring "Pills Won't Help You Now" kind of ruin it.

i love how these old threads keep getting resurrected! Mostly thanks to Euro Club (shhh)hits Volume 0.

See? Spam is a good thing. We were wrong all along.

Salmon Dance - agreed
Battle Scars - my least fav
Pills - WHAT? I love that tune!

If any of you who haven't seen them live have a chance to one day, DO IT! You won't regret it. It's the ultimate audio/visual experience.
