Re: Ministry
MINISTRY LIVE = Nice!

I saw the Denver stop on the CU-La-Tour and they opened with Let's Go. It hit like an atom bomb!

Did Burton Bell from Fear Factory come out and do vocals for the second half of the show? Old Uncle Al & Burton doing duets. Now that's some bad ass shit!

Yeah he did! Not familiar with Fear Factory, but the guy pulled Ministry off pretty well. Ndrwrld caught wind that Al's been really sick with pneumonia, so I won't say anything about cop-outs or the like. Just glad to see Ministry perform one last time. Get well and keep your hands in the music pie, Al!

We met them before the show in Denver and Al was sick then. Still for being sick, Al Jourgensen still goes out and puts on good shows. With Burton singing, it was nice to see Al focus on guitar and playing some leads.

As far as Fear Factory, check them out:

Forget the MySpace Music Player, scroll down just a bit and check out the other music player. Listen to Demanufacture or Edgecrusher. Those are essential Fear Factory songs!

Re: Ministry
i saw them mar 31st out here in portland oregon. it was an awesome show. i went to see meshuggah open for them and i stayed about 3/4 the way through ministry's set. i was disappointed to not hear anything over 10 years old, but isn't there a legal situation that is preventing them from playing that stuff?

anyway, i didn't know most of the new songs they played, and it was the same old ministry song writing formula, but they still rocked my face off. it was an industrial thrash metal orgy \m/
