Theres no difference really, at one time we thought there was, but the first time we heard about it was back when underworldlive.com were giving away live sets to download a few years ago, and dark train was labeled as 'nu train'.

Of course at the time, we assumed that it was because it was a different version from the album, but when you listen to later versions of tracks labelled 'nu train' it doesnt feel that much different from the original version.

I always thought that perhaps 'nu train' is what the boys have always called 'dark train'... i also wondered if born slippy nuxx is also meant to be 'born slippy nu xx (kiss kiss)'

Re: five hour set in Puerto Rico??????
My theory is that if you listen to some of the oldest live shows, they sometimes played some stuff with "ride the train" lyrics but the music itself was much closer to Dark & Long live, and perhaps this is the earliest version of "Dark Train." Later that evolved into what would become the studio EP version of "Dark Train." To the band, though, it was always a "newer" version of the track, and thus, when they play it live, to them it is "Nu/New Train." Well, that's how I reconcile it in my mind, anyway.
