At the risk of setting off a third version...

This Izotope's Ozone Imager plug-in is free, and does a pretty good job of spreading out a mono signal: https://www.izotope.com/en/products/...ne-imager.html

Set it to Width 50, Stereoise On, Amount 1.0 and to my ears it work wonders for this for this gig.

This is pretty cool. It certainly opens up the soundstage, but using the settings you suggested, I end up with a stereo image that has a bit of a left channel bias. Do you know what that's about?

I also feel like I'm listening to out of phase audio, and it's a bit fatiguing after a few minutes.

Edit: Bumping the Stereoise anywhere from 3.0 to 20.0 addressed the imaging issue. There certainly is a spectrum of phasing as you scrub through that range. I'll have to listen more, but maybe about 7.0 sounds best to me?

Yeah those original settings makes it way to unbalanced to the left side and sounds awful.

Does it sound better with your settings Todd?

This could be an interesting tool for the future...

Odd, when I first tried anything other than 1.0 had phase issues, but 1.0 sounded great.... but now I'm getting the phase/pan issues at 1.0 and 3-20 fixes it, same as you guys. Possibly a bug?

btw it's worth noticing that the desk setup for this show looked a bit different again from recent shows. Karl now had a bigger desk for himself facing the crowd, and he was firing off some samples from a CDJ again, something that was missing in the past few years (and added a nice extra bit of live element). He also actually brought and played his guitar which is also something I think we haven't seen him do much at all lately (except for bass guitar on the Dubnobass tour).

Also, Rick had another "station" left of him.
It seems all three computers (running Ableton Live as before) are now also complemented by NI Maschine and iPad controllers.

Looks like ricks setup changed again from the last pre-show gear post on Instagram. He had both the Maschine controllers to his right and nothing separating him and Karl then.

I hope Darren comes back on stage if for no other reason than more free hands to do live bits. Allow rick to turn away from the desk and pound on the controllers and such.

So correct me if I'm wrong. They have recorded the FULL gig in pristine 1080p, perfect lossless stereo, top notch (live?) editing but we will ONLY get KOS because the crappy mono 64kbps AAC livestream KINDA worked during the other tracks?

They better be kidding us.

Never mind that we lost half of Jumbo too. I think they did this just to troll Badger.
