We3
wow. bought this by a recommendation from someone. this is almost perfectly described as "terminator meets homeward bound". wish it was longer, but it was a fantastic story and the art was gorgeous.

any recommendations for Grant Morrison / Frank Quietly stuff?

Re: We3
Yeah, We3 needed to be longer, I think. Of course, only a concept Grant Morrison could come up with.

The current All Star Superman series they're doing is so far great. They also worked on New X-Men a few years ago and did a great job of that. I read the first Invisibles graphic novel, but honestly, I couldn't get into that. Don't know of any other works by Frank Quitely to recommend, but All Star Superman is a definite read.

Re: We3
i actually saw a poster of the superman allstar when i went to get we3. was weird because it was the same duo, i asked about it and the story seemed pretty cool from what was described. i'll wait for it to be collected into one book.

we3 is so sad, like theres not a lot of text but just the images and the little amount of text there is made it so powerful for me. i have to say though, that frank quietly has some weird panels/drawings, sometimes it was hard to figure out what was going on. i'm a fan of the art though.

Re: We3
Quitely is definitely one of the more unique artists you'll find in the comics field, and that has just made him great. His form is just awesome. He worked on The Authority a while back, but I haven't read it.

Re: We3
What you guys said.. We3 is incredibly short, not just in volume but also in text. It's about the size of two issues and has almost no dialogue.. I finished it in about 5 minutes which is unacceptible for its price.

Other then that, I liked the story. Most of his stuff is just weird for me (The Filth was a terrible read)
