I look forward to downloading this release when it's released in a lossless format. Has this been confirmed or not?

I'm not worried about it being a crap mp3, I'm generally happy with and do download 192kbs mp3s but when I start buying music online I expect it to come in a lossless format. Depending on the sound system you listen to them on it will make a difference. I can quite easily tell the difference between a high quality mp3 and flac of the same performance which is why when I pick up bootleg I always take the time to wait for a lossless format release.

If there definately isn't going to be a lossless release, i will get it as it is; otherwise I will wait.

Re: Lovely Broken Thing : A message from Rick and Karl
While searching for something else...
Rob da Bank one music 20005.11.10
Partly transcript:

JAL to Tokyo notes:
Karl: This is the most exciting and rewarding record release in the whole of the last 26 years togehter. This was the first track we recorded using our laptops , Rick wrote the music on a Japanese Air Lines flight to Tokyo and Karl wrote the text, walking the streets of Melbourne. The vocals were then recorded in a hotelroom above the casino in Melbourne.

Peggy Sussednotes:
Karl: This came together very quickly, recorded down in Lemonworld in Romford and studio Rick. This the second version of the vocals he did as the first one sounded like Mick Jagger. The lyrics came from a vision Karl had after meeting Mickey Mouse.

Dub Shepard notes:
Karl: The Dub Shepard likes reagge and owns a flock of red gold and green sheep. They use the track in the live show, it's one of the new pieces they've done. There is absolutely no resambelance whatsoever to how it started out and is a product of jamming by swapping laptops.

Monkey Wink notes:
Karl: This was apperently written all over Essex, Rick liked it's brutal simplicity and the ambiguity of the polyrhythm. The discription is as minimal as is the music.
