in the belly of Saint Paul - well preserved original copy for sale

Dear dirties,

I have a fairly well preserved original copy (number #72 to be precise) of the "in the belly of Saint Paul" book. Please see photos of it here: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0x5nhQST2lx3P

I bought it online when originally published while living in Uppsala (Sweden). After moving to Stockholm 12 years ago it ended up forgotten, in the basement storage, lying in a box full of various other books wrapped in its original plastic bag.

I flipped through the pages after finding it when doing some basement clearing and was surprised at how beautiful it is. I was tempted to keep it but to be honest I probably wouldn't make much use of it and I felt that there must be people out there who would cherish it much more. With that goal in mind I chose to approach the dirty forum rather than posting it publicly on eBay.

As you can tell by the pictures it's not in perfect mint condition, some slight tear on the cover and a few faint yellowish stains are on there. But the inside is in perfect condition.

I don't have a particular price in mind. Looking at some old forum posts of the book being discussed people suggested prices ranging from 50£ - 150£ or so. I guess it'll go to the highest bidder?

Shipment will be from Sweden so that'll be added on top.

Unfortunately the accompanying photo has been lost to the ages...

not to be rude about it, as i don't doubt that you possess the book and all, but i'm #72 as well so that's a bit weird.

i'll get home from work and take a look/post photos...

I'm assuming I'm #72 since that's the number given on this page: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#...7-951704B412D3

But not sure if that corresponds to the photo number?

I can see that the 72nd picture isn't registered in my name: http://www.underworld-print.com/Bell...es/072_jpg.htm

Also according to google search of underworld-print.com my name is not on any of the photos. I don't have a clear memory as to whether I did register or not but it would seem very unlike me not to do it... sort of brings up this eary vague memory of finding my photo already registered all those years ago and not knowing what to do about it.

Come to think of it I saw mentioned there were 3000 original copies made, but there are only 500 photos at http://www.underworld-print.com/BellyAlbum/index.htm so maybe the numbers weren't unique?

that's me

another variable: i seem to recall my book being fairly delayed, to the point where i think i asked about it. my book then came with the photo and a newspaper clipping of a hilarious-looking bodybuilder signed by karl thanking me for "being cool" about it.

Mystery solved!

the photo sent to me is 72, so i registered it as such, but the book is stamped 73, which i was a little surprised that i didn't remember, but there it is

Makes you wonder what number is stamped inside Dan Pettit's book then, eh?
