Re: Thursday night
Its hard to play the tracks if u dont see the crowd in front of u. I have respect for Rob da Bank and Chric Coco. They dont see the crowd, but they pick tunes that builds the atmosphere.

And Karl did this job very well, it was pleasure for me to heard the selection. And Mr. Brian Eno was like surprise, its amazing track. (How did Karl get that track? From Eno himself, OMG)

Thanks Karl for that and ... please ... do it soon again
We all love your voice, its unique...

DJ Koze - twisted and won't leave my head. Kind of reminds me of Daft Punk - Rollin' & Scratchin.
Animal Collective - utter madness. Weirdest record I've heard in a long time. Will play this to lots of people.
Melt Banana - rocking!
The Hidden Persuader - glitchy and beautiful, like a really great Aphex track.
Zoo Brazil - My favourite track played. Liquidy and just lovely. Makes me cry that this is unreleased, I want it right now.
Phantom Formation - dark and rinsing.
John Martyn - *wow*, this is one of the most emotional songs I've heard in a long time. Beautiful.

Re: Thursday night
Very interesting to hear the first track Quentin Harris' "Let's Be Young", which is great. Especially interesting is that the horn work in it is lifted straight out of the default loops "RnB Horn Section" in Apple's GarageBand application! Still, he's used it well.

I used it in one of my tracks with a little echo and distortion, but it's still recognisable: http://www.15megsoffame.com/artist/2.../413/Two-Birds
