Yeah! You gotta keep the Tong version around for the first listen aspect. This fuller version is sounding lovely on headphones.

Re: New Crocodile stream at Pitchfork
wow. i cant believe how much more dancey the Tong compressed one sounds compared to the Pitchfork one. Hardly sounds like the same energy to me.

Re: New Crocodile stream at Pitchfork
just lovely.

with the higher quality, does anyone want to take a stab at the words around 4:25 (I think it's Rick singing)?

Re: New Crocodile stream at Pitchfork
Stereogum picked up the Crocodile stream today, finishing their mini-review with "Can you say the wedding song of 2007?"

I think they meant that in a good kind of way!

Re: New Crocodile stream at Pitchfork
I'm quite disappointed. It's boring, dull and doesn't even sound like Underworld... Pity.

I hope whole album will be better.

Re: New Crocodile stream at Pitchfork
if this "doesn't sound like Underworld" then I don't know what does. I mean, it's pretty much Dark & Long part 2 in terms of rhythm and feel if you ask me.

Re: New Crocodile stream at Pitchfork
having listened to both versions in a row (Tong and Pitchfork) i'm really loving this now... the cleaner crisper (non radio) version is spectacular, and not like anything anyone else is knocking out these days, its typical quality from Underworld, and worth the wait since AHDO

I'm especially loving the melody, and what Rick has done to the production....

and when Karl sings "AAAAAllll these things in meeeee...." it sends a small shiver up my spine...

i'm waiting with baited breath for the plethora of remixes that are coming...
