So I subscribed to a festival live sets stream on Soundcloud and Paris Hilton's recent live set from Ibiza popped up. I give it a listen out of a morbid curiousity when suddenly at 5:40 an eerily familiar synth starts up and suddenly I'm dropped into the Everything, Everything Born Slippy. I'm kinda what the fuck right now...

and to round out tonight's VERY productive trolling of youtube, a few covers of born slippy.

apparently these guys have been doing it for a bit, judging by the number of relevant links to recordings from other shows (and even do some improv night to night!)

and a fairly different vibe

I like the first one better, they're more raucus. Nothing beats the masters at their own game, though...
