Speakey bits in the live shows
I need your help. There was a debate a few years ago re your fav spoken parts - Karl, via the diary, in his generous nature, provided us with the names of the people who provided the voices. Mine has to simply be from I'm a Big Sister etc. Anyways, I was listening to one of my total collection of LiveHereNow cds on the generic mp3 player (let's be honest, iPod - other mp3 players are availabble) and I heard the wonderful line "(sort-of) "waiting for the rain to wash the tears away" But I've now totally forgotten which cd this is on! It was late at night and I was a little tipsy! Please tell me. I've got the full set and as much as I love u/w, I don't want to listen to the whole kaboodle in order to find it again!! (btw, where on earth does that nutty English phrase "kaboodle" come from??) Google, methinks.

Re: Speakey bits in the live shows
I don't think its on a Live Here Now CD, but its on the recording from Exit Festival they did a few years ago. Speech bit comes on before Lenny Penny kicks in.

Re: Speakey bits in the live shows
I'm now thinking that I was so tipsy I imagined it! I so love the spoken parts, as much as I love the music and Karl's, at times, totally utterly random lyrics - I mean "Wind speed rising, summer's late this year, 2 snakes in a bed, I've got my freak machine"! It's so off the wall it's either genius or he's using a steam stripper!
