Re: Barbara Barbara - The Lyrics
I agree TheBang. The album version sounds like the two "Could to see you all hidden things" might actually be two seperate lines. Both could start with "good" or "could", but to be honest i'm not sure it even ends in "things" - It almost sounds like "veins"
Though on second thought, with the previous line being "every thought loose in your mouth" it would actually make sense for the next line to be awkward or random |

Yeah, that's what I had originally. I'll have another listen, as well as for the other one.

Re: Barbara Barbara - The Lyrics
If you google: "Digger Dagger" you will probably find a reference to a chant by fans of Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club (nickname: The Daggers). The club is situated in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. I suspect it's not a coincidence that Twenty Three Blue contains the words Digger and Dagger.
With that out of the way, I'm going to be bold and act as though I'm a regular contributor around these parts by having a bash at some lyrics. I know there are errors here, but hey, it's a start Twenty Three Blue Little imitation plastic wood (?would?) go The wind is coming, wait Time moved slowly on the island Pale the dagger, pale the digger, on-puller (?) of the white line (+inaudible) nothing is a problem the sound of you, like geese the sound of you, ringing crystal did it in a flat bed (?bid?) shows i never seen like days before cover the city tonight city hey cold head blue come and wrap around us come on take me home walking slow breathing upstairs and laughter rippling.... footsteps in grey they're listening dipped in black smiling sounds on the stairs winter walks in, phone rings, I hesitate (then I) then answer carry cup to see you later do you feel the cold of winter touching steaming paper it's up to you before the world wakes up do u feel the cold of winter do u feel the cold of winter do u feel the cold of winter Do u feel the cold of winter Do u feel the cold of winter now in black between the trees berry berry berry (??)
